I have been using this little thing to purify water since I have been able to cast. It i best to use sea salt if you have any but table salt will work too if you have nothing else. Take the tip of your athame or wand and take a bit of salt (or pick up a pinch if you can have nothing else) and drop it into the dish/ chalice/ (in my case) shell of water. Hold out your power hand over it and visualize a dim bright purple light exiting your hand and flowing into the water until the water itself is giving off the powerful aura while saying:
Water and earth,
Apart of Her Great Womb.
May the Goddess bring blessings
Wheresoever this water is cast.
May there be no affects
With negative repercussions.
I thank thee Goddess!
